Welcome to the source for groceries and liquor in Gardiner. The market is a locally owned hybrid store that offers everything a traditional grocery store does, plus gluten-free, organic, and local selections.

We carry fresh meat and produce, baked goods, ready-made sandwiches and salads, beer, wine, and liquor, as well as hiking and camping supplies including bear spray, tents, air beds, and lanterns.

Need something for the family back home? Why not bring home some Made-In-Montana gifts? We offer local items from over thirty different Montana producers.

Electric Peak is a favorite and can been seen in all its glory from our store! ... See MoreSee Less

On this day in history in 1872, Electric Peak got its name when Hayden Expedition surveyors Peale, Gannett, and Brown approached the summit during an electrical storm. At 10,992 feet, the peak looms large over Yellowstone National Park's Northern Range. -From Thomas Turiano’s book, β€œSelect Peaks of Greater Yellowstone: A Mountaineering History and Guide” More from Outside Bozeman at www.outsidebozeman.com/activities/hiking-backpacking/grandest-gallatin. -NPS Photo

The bison rut has started! ... See MoreSee Less

Love is in the air! Hundreds of bison are beginning to gather in the Lamar and Hayden Valleys for the annual bison rut. Although the rut is a fascinating time to observe bison displaying mating behavior, be sure to give them plenty of room (at least 25 yards). Bison are surprisingly agile and quick, capable of speeds of up to 30 mph.

Bear storage containers are not only important in Yellowstone, but also in the surrounding gateway towns too. ... See MoreSee Less

One of the best ways to keep bears and humans safe in Yellowstone National Park is to prevent bears from obtaining and becoming conditioned to human foods. Bear-proof storage containers, known as bear boxes, are a proven method to help accomplish this goal. However, campsites around the park are still in need of nearly 1,000 bear boxes. You can have a real impact today by sponsoring a bear box! Your name, or your group's name, will be engraved on a 4" x 6" plate that is permanently affixed to a bear box placed in a Yellowstone campground. Plus, you'll have the satisfaction of knowing that you are playing a direct role in protecting Yellowstone's magnificent bears. Find out more at www.ypf.org/bearbox. -NPS Photo
